Codex

A Codex is a special book item unique to Remixed Pixel Dungeon, found in libraries. Codex describes some of the features of the game mechanics and some stories written by fans of the game. It contains random lore and information about game mechanics, including details about glyphs and weapon enchantments. In practice, codex are not valuable items, but they contain information that may be useful for beginners. In modding, arbitrary text can be assigned to codex.
