Rings Mechanic

Information about rings and their mechanics in Remixed Dungeon.

Rings are accessories that provide various passive benefits to the player character. Different rings have different effects:

• Ring of Strength - Increases effective strength
• Ring of Detection - Detects hidden secrets
• Ring of Shadows - Improves stealth
• Ring of Haste - Increases movement speed
• Ring of Elements - Provides resistance to elemental attacks
• Ring of Evasion - Improves defense
• Ring of Accuracy - Improves attack accuracy
• Ring of Mending - Regenerates health
• Ring of Frost - Enemies take damage when attacking you
• Ring of Herbalism - Improves dew collection and seed finding
• Ring of Satiety - Reduces hunger rate
• Ring of Stone Blood - Reduces damage when at full HP
• Ring of Thorns - Reflects part of the damage back to attacker
• Ring of Might - Increases effective strength and max HP
• Ring of Wealth - Increases chances of finding better loot
• Ring of Haggler - Reduces price of items in shops
• Ring of Energy - Improves wand recharge rate
• Ring of Shielding - Provides physical damage resistance

• Identification: Like other equipment, rings need to be identified to see their exact effects
• Upgrade: Rings can be upgraded using a Scroll of Upgrade
• Cursing: If a ring has a negative level (before being identified), it may be cursed
• Degradation: Cursed rings cause negative effects, while non-cursed rings provide positive effects
• Single Use: Only one ring of each type can be worn at a time

• Rings are important for character optimization
• Early game ring identification is valuable
• Some rings are class-specific in usefulness (e.g., Ring of Haste for mobile classes)
• Cursed rings can be uncursed with a Scroll of Remove Curse

• Found in treasure chests
• Dropped by various enemies
• Available in shops (when identified)
• Part of certain quest rewards
