The Wand of Regrowth is a wand that grows vegetation along the zap path and roots creatures on the targeted cell via a Regrowth blob.
Effect
When zapped, the Wand of Regrowth:
Vegetation Growth: Converts EMPTY, EMBERS, and EMPTY_DECO tiles along the zap path to GRASS
Blob Effect: Plants a Regrowth blob on the targeted cell, which converts remaining open tiles to GRASS/HIGH_GRASS over time and applies the Roots effect to creatures inside it
Terrain Failure: Zapping any non-vegetable terrain produces a “nothing happened” message
Properties
Type: Wand
Special Effect: Grows vegetation and roots creatures
Targeting: Ballistic path to a chosen cell
Charges: Recharges over time like other wands
Mechanics
The path along the zap converts EMPTY, EMBERS, and EMPTY_DECO terrain to GRASS
On the targeted cell, if the terrain is EMPTY, EMBERS, EMPTY_DECO, GRASS, or HIGH_GRASS, a Regrowth blob is planted with duration `(effectiveLevel() + 2) * 20` (so duration scales with wand level)
The Regrowth blob itself, as it evolves, finishes converting open tiles to GRASS/HIGH_GRASS and applies the Roots buff to any character on those tiles for one tick each turn
Zapping any other terrain prints “nothing happened” and plants no blob
Strategy
Use to block line of sight and movement in corridors
Effective for temporarily immobilizing enemies while the Regrowth blob lingers
Can be used defensively to create barriers
Useful for nature-themed builds or characters
Good for controlling the battlefield by changing terrain
