Buff mechanics encompass the systems that manage temporary status effects, both beneficial (buffs) and harmful (debuffs) in Remixed Dungeon.

• Buffs - Positive status effects that enhance player abilities
• Debuffs - Negative status effects that hinder player abilities
• Neutral Effects - Status changes that aren't strictly positive or negative

• Invisibility - Prevents enemy detection
• Haste - Increases action speed
• Regeneration - Heals over time
• Shield - Provides damage reduction
• Levitation - Allows passage over traps

• Poison - Deals damage over time
• Paralysis - Prevents all actions
• Burning - Deals damage and destroys items
• Blindness - Reduces accuracy
• Roots - Prevents movement

• Duration - Most buffs have limited duration measured in turns
• Stacking - Some buffs stack, others don't, some override
• Tick Rate - Some buffs apply effects every certain number of turns
• Removal - Some effects can be cleared early with specific items

• Potion of Purity - Removes all harmful effects
