Burning
Burning is a harmful status effect in Remixed Dungeon that causes ongoing fire damage over time.
Mechanics
Damage:
Takes fire damage each turn
Duration:
Lasts until cured by water or until duration expires
Spread:
Fire can potentially spread to adjacent flammable objects
Water Cure:
Standing in water extinguishes fire
Sources of Burning
Wand of Firebolt
causes burning on hit
Fire Elemental
attacks can cause burning
Burning Fist
attacks cause burning
Potion of Liquid Flame
creates burning areas
Scroll of Psionic Blast
can cause burning
Fire enchantment
on weapons causes burning
Glyph of Flame
on armor causes burning on hit
Some traps cause burning when triggered
Countermeasures
Standing in water extinguishes the fire immediately
Potion of Healing
and better healing potions cure burning
Ring of Elements
can provide resistance to burning
Armor
