Throwing Weapons

Throwing weapons in Remixed Dungeon are ranged weapons that can be hurled at enemies from a distance.

Weapon Types

Properties

  • Range: Typically medium distance
  • Durability: Varies by weapon type
  • Damage: Generally lower than melee weapons but with range advantage
  • Stackable: Most throwing weapons can be stacked

Special Mechanics

  • Can attack enemies without entering adjacent squares
  • Some may return to the player after throwing (e.g., Boomerang)
  • Damage may be affected by dexterity or ranged skill bonuses
  • Can be used to attack around corners or from safe positions

Strategy

  • Effective for softening up enemies before melee combat
  • Good for attacking enemies behind obstacles
  • Useful when you need to maintain distance from enemies
  • Can be used to trigger traps from a safe distance
  • Often helpful when facing groups of weaker enemies

Class Interactions

  • Rogue may have bonuses to thrown weapon damage
  • Huntress has bonuses with ranged weapons
  • Gnoll starts with Tomahawk, a throwing weapon
