Encounters
Encounters refer to interactions between the player character and various elements in the dungeon, including monsters, traps, items, and other game features.
Types of Encounters
Hostile Encounters
- Mobs - Enemies that actively engage the player in combat
- Traps - Hidden mechanisms that activate when stepped on or triggered
- Hostile NPCs - Non-player characters that attack the player
Neutral Encounters
- Passive Mobs - Enemies that don't actively seek combat
- Utility Mobs - Mobs that can be interacted with in special ways
Friendly Encounters
- NPCs - Non-player characters that offer services or information
- Ally Mobs - Creatures that assist the player
Environmental Encounters
- Level Objects - Interactive features like fountains and altars
- Terrain Features - Elements like water, grass, or lava that affect gameplay
- Stairs - Access points between dungeon levels
Strategy
- Approach unknown encounters with caution
