Liquid Flame
Liquid Flame is an environmental effect in Remixed Pixel Dungeon that causes burning damage to characters who come into contact with it.
Description
Liquid Flame is a magical fire effect that appears as a burning liquid on dungeon floors. It typically results from throwing a Potion of Liquid Flame at a location or other fire-based mechanics. Characters standing on Liquid Flame tiles take damage each turn they remain in contact with it.
Mechanics
- Damage: 1 damage per turn to any character standing on the tile
- Duration: Typically lasts 5-8 turns before extinguishing naturally
- Spread: Can spread to adjacent flammable terrain
- Ignition: Will ignite any flammable environmental elements it touches
- Area: Usually affects a 3×3 area when created by a potion
Interactions
- Water: Water-based elements and potions can extinguish Liquid Flame
- Potions: Potion of Frost and Potion of Purity can extinguish it
- Ice: Frost-based mechanics can freeze and remove Liquid Flame
- Burning Status: Characters in Liquid Flame gain the Burning status effect
