**Scrolls** are consumable magical items in Remixed Dungeon that produce various effects when read. Each scroll can typically be used only once.

  * Scrolls are used by reading them
  * Each scroll has a single use and is consumed after use
  * Most scrolls take 1 turn to read
  * Some scrolls target specific equipment or require selection of a target
  * Reading scrolls takes time and may attract nearby enemies
  * Reading scrolls while Blind is impossible

  * Identify scrolls early to understand their effects before using
  * Save powerful scrolls for emergency situations
  * Use upgrade scrolls strategically on your best equipment
  * Carry curse removal scrolls when exploring deeper levels
  * Teleportation scrolls can help escape dangerous situations
  * Magic mapping scrolls reveal traps and secret rooms

  * Found as random drops in dungeon levels
  * Available in shops (except Scroll of Psionic Blast and [[en:rpd:scroll_of_curse_item|Scroll of Curse]])
  * Sometimes found in chests
  * Dropped by certain enemies
  * Scroll Holder container item contains scrolls
