Potion

Potions are consumable items in Remixed Dungeon that provide various beneficial or harmful effects when drunk by the hero. They are one of the most important resources for survival in the dungeon.

• Potion of Healing - Restores health points
• Potion of Experience - Gains experience levels
• Potion of Might - Permanently increases strength and health
• Potion of Frost - Freezes nearby enemies
• Potion of Liquid Flame - Creates a burning area
• Potion of Toxic Gas - Releases poisonous gas
• Potion of Paralytic Gas - Releases paralyzing gas
• Potion of Invisibility - Makes hero temporarily invisible
• Potion of Mind Vision - Reveals hidden secrets
• Potion of Purity - Neutralizes harmful gases and debuffs
• Potion of Levitation - Allows temporary flight
• Potion of Strength - Permanently increases strength (deprecated)

• Potions start as unidentifed, appearing as random colors
• Identified potions retain their color and effect
• Scroll of Identify can identify a potion
• Alchemy can be used to brew known potions
• Hero classes have different identification advantages:
  • Mages can identify potions by throwing them
  • Warriors have a chance to identify when drinking

• Drinking unidentifed potions is risky but sometimes necessary
• Healing potions are the most valuable for survival
