Enemies

Enemies (also known as mobs) in Remixed Dungeon are hostile creatures that the player encounters throughout their journey.

Types of Enemies

  • Basic Mobs - Standard enemies with simple AI
  • Elite Mobs - Stronger versions of basic enemies
  • Bosses - Powerful enemies blocking progression to deeper levels
  • Minions - Weaker enemies that support stronger foes

Enemy Attributes

  • HP - Hit Points determine how much damage an enemy can take before dying
  • Attack - Determines the enemy's ability to hit the player
  • Defense - Reduces incoming damage from player attacks
  • Damage - The amount of damage the enemy can inflict
  • EXP - Experience granted when the enemy is defeated

Enemy Behaviors

  • Aggressive - Actively seek out and pursue the player character
  • Passive - Only attack when provoked or when the player enters their range
  • Neutral - Do not attack unless attacked first
  • Intelligent - May use special abilities or tactics against the player

Enemy Mechanics

  • AI System - Enemies have different behavioral patterns based on their type
  • Spawn Rates - The frequency of enemies varies by dungeon level
  • Special Abilities - Some enemies have unique powers or resistances
  • Loot - Defeated enemies may drop items or gold

Combat Against Enemies

  • Melee Combat - Close-range fighting with weapons
  • Ranged Combat - Attacking from a distance with bows or spells
  • Tactical Considerations - Positioning, timing, and resource management
  • Defensive Tactics - Using armor, shields, or defensive items
