Immunities
Immunities in Remixed Dungeon refer to resistances or complete prevention of certain status effects or damage types that characters or mobs can possess.
Types of Immunities
Complete Immunities
- Sleep: Complete resistance to sleep status effect
- Paralysis: Complete resistance to paralysis status effect
- Frost: Complete resistance to freezing effects
- Burn: Complete resistance to burning effects
- Toxic Gas: Complete resistance to toxic gas effects
- Poison: Complete resistance to poison damage over time
- Death: Complete resistance to instant death effects
- Amok: Complete resistance to amok status (turning hostile)
- Blindness: Complete resistance to blindness status
- Terror: Complete resistance to terror status (fleeing in fear)
- Vertigo: Complete resistance to vertigo status (confused movement)
- Bleeding: Complete resistance to bleeding damage over time
Partial Immunities
- Resistance that reduces the effect of status conditions
- May reduce duration or severity of effects
Acquiring Immunities
- Hero Classes: Some hero classes have innate immunities (e.g., Lich has many immunities)
- Buffs: Temporary immunities granted by buff effects
- Items: Equipment that provides immunity to specific effects
- Mobs: Certain mobs have immunities to specific status effects
Notable Immunities
- Lich: Immune to Paralysis, Toxic Gas, Terror, Death, Amok, Blindness, Sleep, Poison, Vertigo, Bleeding
- Skeletons: Usually burn to dust when killed
- Other undead: May have immunities to specific effects
Strategy
- Identify and target immunities when selecting equipment and tactics
- Use different strategies against enemies with specific immunities
- Consider immunity-granting equipment when facing certain enemies
