Seed of Earthroot
Description
A seed from the Earthroot plant that can be planted or consumed for various effects. When consumed, it provides defensive capabilities by applying the Roots debuff for 25 turns and the Barkskin buff equal to 1/4 the player's strength.
Special Properties
- Can be planted to grow Earthroot plants
- Part of the game's farming/alchemy system
- Dropped by Earth Elementals with 10% chance
- Used in the Sprout Spell which randomly plants one of various seeds
Usage
- Planting: Can be planted on any tile to grow an Earthroot plant that provides Barkskin buff when touched
- Spell Component: Used in Sprout Spell as part of the random seed generation
Crafting & Alchemy
- Potion Creation: Used to craft Potion of Paralytic Gas in alchemy system
- Treasury Item: Can be found in treasure rooms (Treasury levels)
Strategy
- Consuming provides significant armor but locks you in place for 25 turns - only use when safe
- Planting is useful when you need defensive benefits in a specific location
- Consider carrying for emergency protection in safe areas
