Weapon Types Mechanic
This page provides information about different weapon types in Remixed Dungeon.
Melee Weapons
Melee weapons are used for close combat and include:
- Swords - Standard melee weapons with balanced stats (e.g. Short Sword, Long Sword)
- Axes - Heavy damage weapons with slower attack speed (e.g. Hand Axe, War Hammer)
Ranged Weapons
Ranged weapons allow attacking from a distance:
- Bows - Use ammunition like arrows to attack from range (e.g. Wooden Bow, Composite Bow)
- Crossbows - Higher damage than bows but slower (e.g. Crossbow)
- Slingshots - Basic projectile weapons (e.g. Slingshot)
- Custom Ranged - Special ranged weapons with unique properties (e.g. Chaos Bow)
Missile Weapons
Missile weapons are thrown or fired at enemies:
- Throwing Knives - Fast, light projectiles (e.g. Throwing Knife)
- Javelins - Medium-range throwing spears (e.g. Javelin)
- Shurikens - Small throwing stars (e.g. Shuriken)
- Darts - Basic ranged ammunition (e.g. Dart, Curare Dart)
Ammunition
Various types of ammunition used with ranged weapons:
- Arrows - Used with bows (e.g. Arrow, Poison Arrow)
- Bolts - Used with crossbows (e.g. Bolt)
- Special Ammunition - Enhanced projectiles with effects (e.g. Incendiary Dart, Shocker)
Special Weapon Properties
- Enchantments - Magical effects that enhance weapon properties (Enchantments)
- Upgrades - Enhancement levels that improve weapon stats (Weapon Upgrades)
- Durability - Weapons degrade over time and need repair/replacement
