Weapons

Weapons are items that increase the hero's damage output in combat. Each weapon has a damage range and speed of attack, with some having special properties or requiring specific strength to wield effectively.

Weapon Properties

  • Damage: Range of damage dealt per successful hit
  • Speed: Time required between attacks
  • Strength Requirement: Minimum strength needed to wield effectively
  • Tier: Level of quality (higher is generally better)
  • Durability: How much use the weapon can take before breaking
  • Enchantments: Special magical properties that enhance performance

Weapon Tiers

  • Tier 1: Short Sword - Basic weapon with balanced stats
  • Tier 2: Battle Axe - Higher damage than Tier 1
  • Tier 3: Spear - Reach weapon with moderate damage
  • Tier 4: War Hammer - High damage but slow
  • Tier 5: Long Sword - High damage balanced weapon
  • Tier 6: Gauntlets - Fast attacks with moderate damage

Weapon Types

Weapon Enchantments

Weapons can be enchanted with special properties that provide additional effects:

  • Fire: Chance to burn the enemy
  • Poison: Chance to poison the enemy
  • Shocking: Chance to damage adjacent enemies
  • Instability: Random effect on each attack
  • Lucky: Attacks deal maximum damage more often
  • Sacrifice: Deal damage to yourself to damage enemy more
  • Blocking: Chance to reduce damage when attacking
  • Chilling: Chance to slow the enemy
  • Horror: Chance to terrorize the enemy
  • Light: Increases accuracy
  • Lucky: Increases critical hit chance

Weapon Upgrading

  • Scroll of Upgrade: Primary method to improve weapons
  • Enhanced Damage: Each upgrade level adds +1 to damage range
  • Durability: Upgraded weapons may have increased durability
  • Enchantment Level: Upgrades may enhance enchantment effects
  • Limitations: Maximum upgrade levels exist
  • Curses: Cursed weapons become more dangerous when upgraded
